The ambiance is enhanced by a striking black marble oval bar, which Becky F notes as a central highlight. It’s not just about aesthetics; the service shines bright with staff like Bartosz and Bart, who have been described as polite, accommodating, and skillful in crafting drinks that make a long travel day more bearable.
As H W pointed out, the setting is peaceful, perfect for those waiting for flights. As far as airport food goes, this place was actually pretty good. We had the pizza and a sandwich and everything was fresh. Rather pay an exta few dollars here than get crappy airport food.
Recommend the tuna tartare; the portion is generous. It's located near gate A6, which is less crowded and offers a peaceful environment for waiting for your flight. The bar can get a bit crowded, making it more suitable for small parties. Newark terminal A is much more modern compared to the other terminals.
Bartosz has provided us with an excellent customer service - very polite , very kind , very accommodating and professional young man . We enjoyed our visit at the restaurant while waiting for our flight to RDU. Thank you !
We did not get any food here but this bar is prime!!! It has a gorgeous black marble, oval bar with red pleather high top chairs, and there are also some tables & banquettes, and they all have a view of the tarmac. Hubs and I got bloody Mary’s because it’s a must when traveling, lol, but what made this bar so amazing is Rosemary, our bartender! She has a smile & personality that will outshine any drink!!! Cheers peeps :)
Bart made me the best drink ever! It was exactly what I needed during a long day of travel. It would be great if I could figure out how to bottle this Grapefruit Rumble up! Bart did an awesome job and he even carded me when I’m 46! Amazing service.
I had an amazing experience at Town Bar Kitchen. Bart was an excellent server! He was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations based on the flavors I was looking for. I had the Town GT and the Natural Born Sinner cocktails, both of which were well balanced and tasty. The Meat and Cheese plate was lovely, and the Caccio e Pepe Fiocchi was divine. This place is a hidden gem in the Newark airport, and I highly recommend it!
Food was delicious; had the tuna tartar, its best if you eat with fork as plantain is tiny. Salad amazing and huge, Italian melt yummy. Sheila’s service was amazing and great recommendations where offered to me, can’t wait to eat the cheesecake and the melt on the plane
Great pizza and service - Matheus was my server and was very attentive and helpful! Would highly recommend stopping here if you're ever looking for good food and a relaxing atmosphere.
